THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE AT THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF GDAŃSK (MUG) was established in 1945 and its English Division in 2001. It offers students a 6-year M.D. teaching programme.
Hands-on clinical teaching is conducted simultaneously along with providing healthcare at the University Clinical Centre and at selected teaching hospitals in Gdańsk.
It allows students to participate in international study programmes and internships.

THE UNIVERSITY
THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF GDAŃSK was established in 1945 and its English Division in 2001. With over 6000 students at four faculties: the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy and the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology, it is the largest medical university in northern Poland.
The MUG offers students a Premedical Course, Medicine Doctor Programme, Pharmacy Programme and Nursing Programme which are taught fully in English. The Invasive Medicine Center together with the Non-Invasive Medicine Center are its main two hospitals. International students constitute more than 15% of the MUG’s students and represent more than half of all international students in Gdańsk.
